Excellent location, in the center of the Financial District of NYC, walking distance to the Wall Street, the Charing bull and Battery Park to take the Statue of Liberty cruise. Subway of R, 1, 4, 5 lines are also nearby.

Very clean and kind service. Room was comfortable despite being so small. The common area on the 2nd floor was nice with outdoor seating.

Bit off a mess up when arriving at 3 in the morning as reservation not found. The staff made every effort to to help us and there was only one room left which was far smaller than our booking. The staff was fantastic as they then managed to offer us the penthouse suite for the other three days and didn’t charge any extra. Fantastic room, so thank you so much to the managers and staff. Only niggles, as many have said, that in the bathrooms (including the penthouse) there isn’t really anywhere to put your wash bag etc - they just need more shelves. Great idea of complementary cheese, biscuits and wine at 5 most nights. Location good for subways or ferry and many restaurants and bars in the vicinity. Overall lovely people and a great stay at a good price. Wholly recommend the Fidi.

The hotel does not offer breakfast service. However, in the surrounding area there are countless places to have breakfast, dinner and, very importantly, have coffee. Another thing I loved about the location is that there are two train stations 1 minute away Whitehall Street (R, W) and 3 minutes away Bowling Green (4, 5) walking from the hotel entrance.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, we had worries because other reviews had said there was no hanging space but we had a wardrobe and safe in our room. We loved the wine and cheese time between 5&7, Tues to Sat, they were very generous with the wine and we didn’t realise that the member of staff serving us was the general manager, you don’t get that sort of service at other hotels. Lauren was really nice, gave lots of advice out about the local area, recommended local restaurants and coffee houses, it was a really nice touch. We’d previously stayed near Times Square but we’d recommend this hotel because the area was quieter but it has good transport links, it’s so easy to get to grand central station or across to DUMBO and there are plenty of nice places to eat and drink nearby.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff was very efficient. The rooms and common areas were very clean and well-maintained. The weekly "wine and unwind" (free glass of wine between 5-7 on weekdays) was a nice touch and the bar/lounge area was very welcoming. The hotel does have an arrangement with a nearby garage for parking (about 2 blocks away), which was great, and the front desk staff was super helpful with instructions.

Rooms were comfortable and clean, and the Executive King room was quite large. Staff was mostly (except for one person) quite friendly and accomodating. I appreciated that the complimentary water bottles in the room were refreshed everyday.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their friendly and attentive service. The room was absolutely fantastic—spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated with all the amenities you could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the little touches and high-quality toiletries. Room service was exceptional—delicious food delivered promptly and with a smile. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The combination of a great room, friendly staff, and excellent room service made my stay truly memorable. Highly recommend this hotel!

Great location, easy to get around New York from the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the front reception staff even helped us out and swapped a $50 note for us from his own wallet! Liked the level 2 area and the room was comfortable and good value for money.
